In our early days, Go Cross encouraged female participation by giving ALL women racers free entries (thanks to East Coasters Bike Shop). Now that women’s cyclocross racing is gaining traction our goal is to make the sport 50/50 in gender participation. We’re cool with female world domination too!
Whether this will be your first race or you are an elite racer that travels the globe, our goal is to make you feel included and equal. That’s why ladies love Go Cross!
Thanks to Virginia's Blue Ridge the Go Cross Race will have a prize purse with over $10,000 being split among the men's and women's pro riders and $2,000 for junior elites, as well as amateur category prizes. Roanoke's cyclocross racing wouldn't be possible without them.
