Roanoke Outside is Giving Away A Bike at Go Cross!

One lucky spectator, volunteer, beer miler, or racer will go home with this Fat Tire Bicycle.

How to Enter

Anyone can enter! Do any of these things to gain entries. The more things you do, the more entries you get — there is no limit!

Entries linked to registrations or signups will be automatically applied, you will not have to do anything. The others will be handled at the yellow “Info” tent at the event.

  • Pre-register to race - Every Go Cross race registration you make before Tuesday, Sep 10, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET gains you (1) entry, automatically. Register for both days, that’s two entries! (Note: we will not be able to apply entries for on-site registration.)

  • Volunteer - Every Go Cross volunteer shift gets you two (2) automatic entries; every course marshal shift gets you three (3) extra entries for a total of five!

  • Register for the Fat Tire Beer Mile Relay with RunAboutSports for one (1) automatic entry. (Note: Pre-register only, no day-of registrations, because the drawing takes place before the Beer Mile.)

  • Wear an epic costume to cheer on the riders for three (3) entries. (If you compete in the Beer Mile, in costume, you can get thes extra entries!)

    • How to enter: Show off your costume at the bright yellow “Info” tent.

  • Donate to Project Outside for one (1) entry for every $5 you donate. Every donation goes to helping Roanoke Outside build a better outdoor community.

    • How to enter: Come to the bright yellow “Info Tent” to show us your recent donation receipt.

The Drawing

The drawing will be at 12:00 PM on Sunday, Sept. 15th. The winner will receive a text message notifying them that they’ve won.

  • You do not need to be present to win.

  • The winner must accept via text by 1:00 PM.

  • If they do not respond by text by 1:00 PM, we reserve the right to choose a different winner.

  • Winner must arrange for local pick-up. We will not ship the bike.
